Stripes 2 - this topcap features layered damascus across the whole topcap surface.

This one of a kind topcap has a base turned out of 4130 steel and a hand forged damascus steel top that has been silver brazed to the base.  Each top cap is a completely unique item with it’s own quirks & details.

Damascus steel is prone to patina - your topcap is coated in a protective layer of beeswax to help protect the steel and the contrast of the pattern. This will wear away over time and can wear more quickly under extreme elements and use. Damascus steel exposed to the elements can rust, so it is recommended you buff and re-coat your topcap as necessary to keep at its best form and function. Wax, oil, or even grease buffed into the surface with a soft cloth will help protect the material.
